Fee Structure 2009/2010 & Scottish Gymnastic Membership Payment
As you may be aware we have been in a fortunate position since 2006 in that we have been able to keep gymnast fees stable with no increases during this time. The club has also been able to fund for the last two years the Scottish Gymnastic membership payment for every child within the club.
Unfortunately we have been informed that from 2009 we will require to increase our contribution to Culture Sport Glasgow for the gym facility hire and coaches contribution substantially to
£40,000 per annum.
As the club is a self funding club with some input from the Council, we have to raise money to pay for this increase and we have no alternative but to increase the fees from May 2009.
We have tried to keep this increase as low as possible.
The Committee have met in order to review the financial position and given the increase in facility hire and coaching we require to increase the fee structure in order to meet this payment and still allow each section to have a budget from where we fund competitions, choreography and essential items.
We propose that from 1st May 2009 the monthly fee structure be as noted below:-
Less than 5 hours £30 (no change from 2006)
5-9 hours £40 (increase of £5)
10-14 hours £50 (increase of £10)
More than 15 hours £60 (increase of £15)
