Congratulations to Amy Regan who recently competed in and achieved a great score of 47.95 at the Senior British Championships in Guildford this weekend, competing for the first time in this age group against the likes of Beth Tweddle MBE. Amy finished in 16th position which for such a young gymnast is an excellent position. This has secured Amy’s place in next years British Championships. Well done to Amy and her coaches.
Amy and Ryan McKee (Mens Artistic) have now obtained the scores required for qualification to the Commonwealth Games this year to be held in Delhi. This is a fantastic achievment for both these young gymnasts, who have worked extremely hard to ensure they achieved the scores required to qualify for the team.
The Official announcement for the final team travelling to Delhi will be in August, and we wish them both every success in securing a place within the team.
Well done to both Amy and Ryan.
Kelvin Cham, Reece Dall, Douglas Ross and Liam Davie travelled with Marius to Madistone in Kent this weekend to compete in the 2010 Pegasus Open Men’s Artistic competition. The boys had a good competition with Liam winning gold medals on high bar and vault – well done Liam.
